Welcome!

I am Dr Florencia Camus, a NERC Independent Research Fellow specialising in mitochondrial biology, mitonuclear interactions, and metabolic processes. My research primarily utilises Drosophila as a model organism, although I also explore diverse species to gain a comprehensive understanding of these critical biological systems.

On this site, you can discover our lab’s research interests, current projects, and the exciting implications of our work in the field of biology. I invite you to explore and learn more about the fascinating world of mitochondria and metabolism. Thank you for visiting, and please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to connect!
